Cage Size Quiz

I made up a set of 3x5 cards with cage sizes on them to learn this material. The information comes from the Guide. As wild guesses, try the following, which I calculated in a Lotus 123 spreadsheet:

Mice: Memorize the weight ranges (<10, 10-15, 15-25, >25). Multiply the mid-range of the weight (i.e. 20) by 0.65 to get the area needed in square inches per mouse.

Hamsters: Memorize the weight ranges (<60, 60-80, 80-100, >100). Multiply the mid-range of the weight by 0.19. Or, add 3 in2 to each increase in weight range, beginning with 10 in2.

Rats: Memorize the weight ranges (<100, 100-200, 200-300, 300-400, 400-500, >500). Multiply the mid-range of the weight by 0.24 (<100 gm), 0.16 (100-200), 0.12 (>200).
